Three Michelin star chef Takagi Kazuo will be offering his unique Kyoto style cuisine at Sharq Village

restaurant on the 26th and 27th of November. The world-renowned chef is known for his super-refined ‘Kyo-ryori’ style of Japanese cuisine, using unique and traditional methods to celebrate Japanese culture and the changing seasons. Those lucky enough to attend the guest chef’s menu will have the choice of a la carte or a set menu, that will feature his famous soup as well as a platter of jewel-like appetisers. The platter explores the Japanese concept of ‘mitame’ in which ingredients are used to imitate aspects of nature, like Chef Takagi’s salmon sushi ball designed to look like a persimmon.
